Terms of Use
Last updated: August 23, 2026
These terms apply to your use of Podcastly, operated by Kenzo Marian Weiss ("we", "us"). They work alongside Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which governs the license to use the app itself.
1. The service
Podcastly lets you search podcasts, listen with a synced transcript, look up words, and save vocabulary for spaced-repetition review. Listening, the dictionary, and any episode that already has a transcript are free and unlimited. Transcribing a new episode, natural AI voices, and daily AI questions are metered and reset on a rolling schedule described in the app.
2. Podcastly Pro subscription
- Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store.
- Price and billing period are shown before purchase and on the App Store listing; payment is charged to your Apple ID.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store account settings.
- No refunds are issued by us directly — refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policies.
3. Acceptable use
Please don't attempt to circumvent usage limits, scrape or resell podcast content, or use the AI features to generate content that is illegal or infringes someone else's rights.
4. Content and copyright
Podcast audio and metadata come from the public feeds you choose to follow; we don't host or own that content. If you are a rights holder and want a feed removed, contact kenzo.voicebox@gmail.com.
5. Disclaimer and liability
The app, including AI-generated answers, transcripts, and dictionary definitions, is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision.
